Dennis R. Knipschield of She]-
ton died in the emergency room of
Mason General Hospital on Octo-
ber 1. He was 44.
He was born in Shell Lake,
Wisconsin, on January 30, 1952
to Harold and Dorothy (Roberts)
Knipschield. He was married in
Olympia on June 11, 1971 to the
former Deborah Smith.
Mr. Knipschield worked as a
journeyman lineman for Mason
County PUD 3 in Shelton. He was
a member of Local 77 of the Inter-
national Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers.
He was a member of the Shel-
ton Moose Lodge. He enjoyed
boating, golfing and spending
time with his friends. His family
was very important to him.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Harold, in 1978. Sur-
vivors include his wife, Deborah;
his daughters, Deanna Muenchow
of Shelton and Dawna Knip-
schield of Shelton; his mother,
Dorothy Knipschield; his sisters,
Ruth Wood of Orlando, Florida,
Dora Lee Louton of Aberdeen,
Cheryl Rose of Orlando and
Kathy ’l‘ingvall of Olympia; his
brothers, Donald Knipschield of
San Jose, California, David
Knipschield of Auburn, Daniel
Knipechield of Montana and
Frank Knipschield of Olympla;
and three grandchildren.
The Reverend Steve Schroeder
officiated at funeral services held
on October 5 at the Shelton
United Methodist Church. Burial
was in Shelton Memorial Park.

Hospital. The cause of death is not

He was born Jan. 30, 1952, in Shell
Lake, Wis, to Harold and Dorothy

Mr. Knipschield married Deborah

He worked for Public Utility Disv
trict No. in Shelton as ajourneyr
man lineman.
Mr. Knipschield was a member of
the Shelton Moose Lodge and
IBEW Local No 77.
He enjoyed spending time with
friends and family. He also enjoyed
boating and golfing.
Mr. Knipschield is survived by his
Wife, Deborah, Shelton; two daugh—
ters, Deanna Muenchovv, and
Dawna Knipschield, both of Shel»
ton; his mother, Dorothy Knip-
schield; four sisters, Ruth Wood,
and Cheryl Rose, both of Orlando,
Fla, Dora Lea Louton, Aberdeen,
and Kathy Tingvall, Olympia; four
brothers, Donald, San Jose, Calif,
David, Auburn, Frank, Olympia, and
Daniel, Montana; and three grand
children.
Visitation will be from noon to 5
pm. Thursday, Oct, 3, and from 3
am. to pm. Friday, Oct. 4 at Mo
Comb Funeral Home, Shelton. A fu-
neral will begin at 11 am, Saturday,
Oct. 5, at the United Methodist
Church, Shelton. The Rev. Steve
Schroeder will officiate. Burial will
be in Shelton Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial
donations be made to a childabuse
program.
