Victor E “Dick” LeRoy died in Seattle on January 8. He was 87. He was born in Alpena, Michi- gan, on February 21, 1908 and grew up in Aberdeen. He graduat— ed from Weatherwax High School He served in the US. Coast Guard during World War 11. Mr‘ LeRoy was a member of ‘ the Disabled American Veterans, the Masonic Lodge and the Epis- copal church. Survivors include his sister, Aneyth Baker of Des Moines; his long-time companion, Nina Leslie of Shelton; and numerous nieces and nephews, Private family services were planned, Inurnment was at New Tacoma Cemetery.
