He lived for a number of years in Grays Harbor County, where was a leader of the local 4-H Club. He became divorced after hav- ingbeen marriedfoeryearstothe former Dixie Spaulding. He enjoyed being a mechanic in the out-of-doors. He also enjoyed hunt- ing, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Wesley G., in 1993.
