years. He worked as a truck driver
and served in the Marine Corps.
He enjoyed spending time with his

his sister; Melody, Olym ia: his
half-sister, Brenda Ree White
Center; his former wife Dixie,
Elma; and two grandchildren.

Wesley C. Gager died at his
home in Grapeview on May 9. He
was 44.
He was born in Olympia on
January 14, 1950 to Lavar and Col-
leen (Lenard) Gager. He served in
the US. Marine Corps and was a
truck driver. He lived for a number
of years in Grays Harbor County,
where was a leader of the local 4-H
Club.
He became divorced after hav-
ingbeen marriedfoeryearstothe
former Dixie Spaulding. He
enjoyed being a mechanic in the
out-of-doors. He also enjoyed hunt-
ing, fishing and spending time
with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a
son, Wesley G., in 1993. Survivors
include his mother, Colleen Gager
of Olympia; his father, Lavar
Gager of Union; his daughter, Mar-
lene Muller of Montesano; his
brothers, Steve Gager of Grape-
view and Ken Gager of Olympia;
his sister, Melody of Olympia; his
grandchildren, Mark and Nikki of
Montesano; his half-sister, Brenda
Reed ofWhite Center; and his for
mer wife, Dixie Gager of Elma.
