S. Reed High
School in 1941.

and was the pi-
lot ofa B—17 bomber.
He married Barbara Durand in
Shelton on January 2, 1946.
He was the owner of La Bis-
soniere Agency, a real estate and
insurance company. In the Six-
ties he went into banking and was
instrumental in starting the Na-
tional Bank of Mason County, now
KeyBank.
He enjoyed the outdoors and
salmon fishing. He was a trophy
hunter who hunted elk, deer and
sheep. His hunting trips took him
to many places, including Alaska
and Canada, He owned a Cessna
airplane and was a member of the
Civil Air Patrol and an aircraft
search and rescue group,
He served on a credit union
board, was a police commissioner
as Well as a Port of Shelton com-
missioner and was a member of
the Shelton Elks Lodge.
Surviving are wife Barbara La-
Bissoniere of Shelton; son Terry
LaBissoniere and wife Julie of
Kent; sisters Joyce Eastman of
Clarita, California, and Sister Ma-
rie (Veronica) LaBissoniere of Cale
ifornia; seven grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his
sister Carol and brother Les.
