Donald E. “Bean” Daniels
On January 13, 2009, Donald Eugene “Bean" anlel< was reuniled in
dealh wilh his beloved wife Sue afier 24 years apart.
Bean was born January 17, 1928.10 Walter and Mayhell(1)oak)
Daniels. Arier high school graduation in 1945, he joined lhc Army
and served in Korea where he worked in the Message Center logging
incoming and ouigoing messages and aiding messengern. Upon
retuniing in 1947, Bean began working {or Pacific Nonhwesl Bell
as an installer, Hc fell in love wilh Susana Abeyia and married on
August 2o, 1950, Their union began 24 years or love, c aiiioiiship
and fun. Togeiher they had iwo chlldrcn, Cheryl and wi m and
could always be seen attending schoul cvciits. Bean and Sue enjoyed
traveling to Tahoe, Mexxco and the Bahama Bean was a charming
dancer, an avid card player, a Joker who was never afraid to break
the silence in any room, and an adoring husband. Hio grandchildren
will remember the two of them dancing by ihe pool, holding hands
and always laughing iogethcr, Their legacy of love will be foiever
imprinted in their children and grandchildren's hearts.
Bean retired afier 321 years ordedicaied service and began selling real
estate in Shellon. He lived his entire so years in Shelton,
Bean was preceded in deaih by his wife, Sue who passed away in
1935. He is survived by his sisier Luulse in San Rafael, CA, his
children Cheryl Rainy (Jeff) and william Daniels (Jennifer), his
grandchildren Megan (Jeffi. Eric (Cecilia). Kris (Louise) and Katie
(Bill). and his grealrgl'undchildren Brandon Lauren, Kailynn and
Maia. llls warmth, love and humor will be miased by us all,
