Recap of January 25, 1997 Meeting Mayo Hayes O'Donnell Library Bookworms/Docents Members present were: Alma Connell, Ethelreda Davis, Marcia DeVoe, Shirley Gorman, Jeanne Holmquist, Betty McCarthy, Faye Messinger, Margaret Parkhurst, Nancy Selfridge, Bill Wallace, Mary Helen Wayne; Ruta Casabianca, MHA Executive Director, Marilyn McMorran, MHA Administrative Assistant, Martha Swain, MHA Office Manager and Staff Liaison to the Library. We welcomed new members: Sarah Diehl, Bob Jaster, Pat Potter, and Marlene Stamm. It was announced with much regret that Marion Webster was retiring after many years of loyal service to the Library. We also learned that Fran Adams would be on temporary leave until she is able to return. Binders were distributed to our new members and to a couple of members who had missed the last meeting. The contents were reviewed with discussion. Housekeeping: The photocopier was demonstrated, (the price per copy is set at twenty cents) a Cash Book and Sales Tax card are on the desk. An estimate for repair of the "Water Closet is in the works. Calendars for the first four months were discussed and reworked to accommodate new members and their training period.
