A recommendation for the plague was presented to the full Heritage Society Board and approved. Although the 1926 deadline criteria established by the Heritage Society was not met in light of the fact your home was built in 1927, the Board felt that the ongoing maintenance and retention of the historical integrity of the home was commendable and worthy of a plague. Because our tax records do not go beyond 1926, we were unable to determine who the original owner of the home was. However, you provided me with that information in our recent telephone conversation, for which I thank you. The original owner of the house built in 1927, as you noted, was Alice Gamman. Normal turnaround time for completion of a plague is two to three months, depending on the volume of requests in process. You will be notified when the plague is ready. If you have any further questions please contact the P.G. Heritage Society at . Thank you Jim Hogan, P. ;ociety Research Team The Heritage Society of Pacific Grove, a 501(c)(3) organization,.was incorporated July 1976 as a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. G.
