Page Eight Chaplain's Message So many people have mentioned the fact it just doesn't seem like Christmas without the star on B Mountain. Others have w ished the Hanukkah lights and the manger scene at the Chapel could beUt up. The one thing we are all aware of is these external ornaments are not what makes this season significant. Once again the world pays homage to a God who has shown his love to mankind. Christians are thinking of the birth of the Christ child. The giving of gifts began with those first gifts offered to him by wisemen. Wisemen still come offering their gifts of love and gratitude and self. Hebrews are joining in the celebration of lights- a remembrance of their victary in the time of the Macabees and the rededication of the Temple, Again, a remembrance of a God who cared. This should be for all of us that special season in joining together not in just saying " Peace on earth, gaod will to men," but in truly meaning and living it. May It be a blessed Christmas for all.
